Elevate Your Game with Coach Kevin Lewis at ScreenTime Academy

When you sign up for coaching with Coach Kevin Lewis, you’re not just getting a coach—you’re gaining a mentor with a proven track record of success in the world of esports. As the first-ever esports coach at Yavapai College, Coach Lewis has led his teams to multiple national championships, including the 2023 NJCAA Esports Hearthstone National Championship and the NJCAA Esports Open Division National Championship in Rocket League.

Coach Kevin Lewis became the first E-Sports Coach in Yavapai College history in December of 2021. In the spring of 2022, E-Sports began its inaugural season at YC and in 2023, Lewis guided the program to its first National Championship after Yavapai College won the NJCAA E-Sports Hearthstone National Championship. In the fall of 2023, Lewis guided his Rocket League team to an NJCAA E-Sports Open Division National Championship. 

Coach Lewis has been a lifelong gamer while teaching others how to play along the way. Some games that he has played competitively include League of Legends, Overwatch 2 and Starcraft 2, while he enjoys playing games such as Fortnite, World of Warcraft, Rocket League and Destiny, for fun. 

Prior to Coach Lewis's most recent occupation at Yavapai College, he worked right here in Prescott at the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic where he served as a case manager for substance abuse, depression, and anxiety clients since 2020.  Before his move to Prescott, Lewis served as a life coach and case worker for Aspiranet in Camarillo, California, from 2018-20. From 2017-18, Lewis also resided in Camarillo as a special education substitute teacher at the Ventura County Office of Education. 

Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2016 from California State University Channel Islands where he was also a research assistant from 2015-17. Prior to that, Lewis earned his associates degree in sociology in 2013 from Orange Coast Community College. 

Meet Nicole: Your Creative Guide to the World of Art!

Nicole is a dedicated educator and artist with over two decades of experience working with children in various educational and recreational settings. Graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Liberal Sciences: Sociology, Nicole initially pursued a career in teaching before transitioning into a leadership role as an Aquatics and Teen Director at the YMCA.

During her 8-year tenure, she developed innovative programs, trained and certified staff in CPR and lifeguarding, and played a key role in community engagement and event management.

Passionate about holistic education, Nicole now focuses on homeschooling her own children while running a business that integrates her love for art, education, and natural healing.

With a certificate in Developmental Disabilities Specialist and ongoing studies to become a Vitalist Herbal Practitioner, Nicole brings a unique blend of expertise to her art classes and tutoring services.

Art is not just a creative outlet for Nicole; it’s a vital part of her teaching philosophy. She has experience working with a variety of artistic mediums and believes in the power of art to inspire and educate. Whether it's through personalized tutoring or interactive art classes, Nicole is committed to helping children discover their own creative potential and thrive in a supportive, nurturing environment.

  • August 27 - September 24: $120 for (5) 1-hour classes

  • October 1 - October 29: $120 for (5) 1-hour classes

  • November 5 - November 26: $96 for (4) 1-hour classes

  • December 3 - December 17: $72 for (3) 1-hour classes

• Time: Tuesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am

• Location: ScreenTime Academy, Camp Verde

• Ages: 5-10 years old

• Enrollment Closes: 1 week prior to the start date

• Maximum: 8 students per class

• Sibling Discount: 10%
